Alma in Silico
The Alma in Silico project, financed by the Interreg IVA Program, has started on 1st July of 2008. The project is coordinated by the University of Liège (GIGA-Research), collaborating with the Universities of Hasselt (BIOMED), UMC+ Maastricht (GCM) and RWTH Aachen (IMB). The aim of this 4-year project is to organize, develop, disseminate and exploit knowhow in the fields of bioinformatics and systems biology within the Euregio Meuse-Rhine.
Analytical Services is a service-based partner for the pharmaceutical- biotechnology industry, medical device manufacturer and clinical research organizations. Analytical-Services provides services for structure elucidation with state of the arte equipment and techniques (e.g. NMR, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, MALDI-TOF), isolation and synthesis of degradation products, characterization of reference standards and storage all done in full compliance with GMP requirements. Analytical-Services offers high quality, target oriented work standards over the entire method development, method validation and release analysis process.
BioMIMedics is an Euregional Interreg-IVa project of five knowledge centres (Maastricht University, RWTH- & FH-Aachen, Ulg, Hasselt University), LIOF and SMEs focussing on applied biopolymer and biosensor research, dissemination and valorisation. The R&D activities of BioMIMedics centre round novel biomimetic biopolymers for medical care.
